HAVING YOUR SAY
Landford Parish Council holds full Parish Council meetings monthly. These usually take place on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.15pm. During each meeting there will be an opportunity to consider any planning applications that have been received and for the council to make a recommendation for approval or rejection.
All of our full Council meetings are open to the public and are notified on the website and on the Parish Noticeboards at least three days before the meeting takes place. Members of the public are welcome to attend, but are only able to speak at the invitation of the Chairman.
If an item is not listed on an agenda, we are not allowed to pass any resolution in relation to it. Although the matter may be discussed, we cannot take any decisions unless it is listed on an agenda – this ensures that any interested parties have the opportunity to attend the meeting and give their views.
If you have something to say about the parish, or feel there is something that the Council should be made aware of, either come along to the next meeting, or contact a Councillor or the Clerk to the Council. If we aren’t the correct authority to deal with your query, we will happily point you in the right direction, and represent you if appropriate.
